Perfect and sunny and mild. Just warm enough to wear some new shorts and go out and walk around. This flower I shot a few months ago came to mind perfectly for this simple blog entry.

how do you stay postive and thinking correctly when it seems to be falling apart around you? That was my question as I worked on a shot that seemed to empower rising above or taking the higher ground as the saying goes. Does it translate?

Do you like this? Well I’ll tell you something about it. They are from a bouquet that was a wonderful gift. So wonderful I decided to save a few and let me “dry”. I never did that before and I wanted to see how they would photograph. You must handle them with Tweezers. I think I did it the right way.
